I have this “Campbell Hausfeld” brand air compressor. I use it for airbrushing but for some reason it loses air pressure too fast even when I don’t do anything to it. It works fine but I think I should buy a compressor that is made for airbrushing, unlike the air compressor I have now, which can be used for anything. I need your opinion about this. An airbrushing artist’s opinion would be great. It’d be also great to have an opinion from an expert at airbrushiing
The compressor needle goes up to the number 6.

It shuts off automatically and then I have to wait like 20 minutes or something for it to cool down and use it again. This is why I’m thinking of buying a new compressor. I still NEED your opinion.

My regular 2 gallon corded compressor just died on me after 5 years of service.. I’m thinkin about getting one of the CAMPBELL HAUSFELD cordless compressors from Wal*mart. Any thoughts? I really would only use it just the occassional car tire pressure maintenence, nothing too serious. Are they any good? What are the pros and cons? Thanks.

I was told that Sears is getting ready to put their craftsman 1 hp, 7 gallon portable air compressor on sale for 139.99. I can get the same deal right now at Lowes but their brand is a campbell Hausfeld. Which do you think is the best one to go with?

I was give a small Campbell Hausfeld 8 gallon air compressor. It usually starts fine, but some times after filling up to 125 psi and allowed to sit, if you use it, and it tries to kick on, it chugs, only coming up to about 1/3 normal speed, then shuts off. If I bleed the pressure down to about 50 psi, SOME times it will kick back on and run normally. Sometimes it wont do anything but chug chug chug die. I’ve changed the oil, drained the tank, air filter looks good. The only thing I can think is over heating? But doesn’t seem to be. I’m lost at what to try next.

I just bought a Campbell Hausfeld “pancake” 1 gallon air compressor and it states to turn the regulator but there is no regulator. When I let it run to fill up, the PSI gauge doesn’t move. What am I doing wrong? How long does it normally take to fill up a new air compressor? Do I let it run with or without the hose attached? The manual for a new user is really short and not helpful.

i am currently looking into a new air compressor for my garage. i know Ingersoll Rand is a great compressor along with Craftsmen. but i was wondering what people think of these other brands: Belaire, Industrial Gold, Schulz, Industrial Air, Campbell Hausfeld? thank you very much, we right now have a craftsmen, but its 25 years old and has been struggling lately.

I am installing a new air compressor in my shop. I need to run a new 220 line for my compressor, the only problem I am having is what cable and breaker to buy because I cant find the ampage of the compressor.
